The Imo State Leadership In Diaspora Forum Worldwide has called for increased awareness of the state’s cultural heritage and pledged to develop strategies for its sustainable progress. Sampson Udeh, the President-General of the group, made this statement on Friday in Owerri.
Udeh highlighted the organization’s commitment to addressing the economic challenges facing Imo State. He also announced that the group would hold a Diaspora Summit in January 2025.
The summit will focus on key issues such as economic growth, cultural heritage preservation, and the role of Imolites in the diaspora in contributing to the state’s development. Additionally, the summit will discuss the importance of improving security in Imo State and formulate strategies for the state’s overall growth and development.
